The Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois insisted that his side won’t
give up hope for catching Manchester City at the top the Premier League table
despite a draw against Liverpool at Anfield on last Saturday’s match.
Manchester City have been in relentless form this season so
far by winning last 11 matches and 2 draws in their overall 13 matches in Premier
League. The title defender, Chelsea is 11 points behind the City and Courtois
is hopeful that this busy festive period may slow Pep Guardiola’s side down.
While speaking with reporters, Courtois said: “ December is
a very tough month. Maybe they drop some points. “
“ We have to be there to be on winning side and hopefully
close down on them, and by the end of the side we may over take position. But
at the current moment that are best team in league and it is hard for them to
loss the points. “
