IT IS NOT THE TIME TO GIVE UP FOR THE PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE: THIBAUT COURTOIS

The Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois insisted that his side won’t give up hope for catching Manchester City at the top the Premier League table despite a draw against Liverpool at Anfield on last Saturday’s match.

Manchester City have been in relentless form this season so far by winning last 11 matches and 2 draws in their overall 13 matches in Premier League. The title defender, Chelsea is 11 points behind the City and Courtois is hopeful that this busy festive period may slow Pep Guardiola’s side down.

While speaking with reporters, Courtois said: “ December is a very tough month. Maybe they drop some points. “

“ We have to be there to be on winning side and hopefully close down on them, and by the end of the side we may over take position. But at the current moment that are best team in league and it is hard for them to loss the points. “

ALVARO MORATA IS BETTER OPTION THAN DIEGO COSTA: GUS POYET

The former Chelsea star who played as a midfielder, Gus Poyet revealed how Alvaro Morata can be better for Chelsea than Diego Costa was.

Alvaro Morata who signed for Chelsea in summer has adjusted himself in team & scored nine goals in overall 13 appearances for the Blues.

He replaced Diego Costa as Chelsea’s main man and former Chelsea star Gus Poyet believes that he can be  important than he (Diego Costa) was if he sticks around Chelsea for long time.

While speaking with BetStars he said: “ I think the most important for Morata, and this is key, is want to be the main striker for four or five years.”

“Forget about changing, forget about being the super sub or whatever – be in the team that is best for you, being the main striker, playing week in week and staying there for four or five years.“  

TIME TO WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NOT TO DEFEND PREMIER LEAGUE: FRANK LAMPARD

The former England midfielder & Chelsea all-time favorite player Frank Lampard said it is time for the Conte and his team to concentrate more to win the Champions League rather than to win Premier League. 

Manchester City under the supervision of Pep Guardiola have dropped only two points so far in their last 12 league matches & seems like unstoppable in attacking, scoring 40 goals so far. 

Speaking to Club partners Yokohama Tyres, Frank Lampard said: “This year is going to be difficult, I think, because Manchester City have started so well. The reality is that City have opened up the league and I think the chance for Chelsea will be in Champions League.”

“I think they will be tough & Conte’s team has to make up their minds to be in top four at the end of the year & keep the traditional of playing Champions League.”

CHELSEA IN FOR WATFORD WINGER; RICHARLISON!

Reports are suggesting that Chelsea have shown their interest in signing Watford winger Richarlison.

The 20 year old Brazilian player had joined Watford from Fluminese in summer transfer window for approximate fee of £13m in 2015.

The player has adapted quickly to play in Premier League and scored four goals in last 12 appearances for the Club.

Richarlison’s overall performances and his goals has helped Watford to ninth place in Premier League table after their league encounter West Ham United in upcoming match i.e. on Sunday.

There are some reports from The Sun, which suggests that the Brazilian player has caught the eye of Chelsea’s boss Antonio Conte during home defeat 4-2 defeat at Stamford Bridge last month.

KANTE THE BEST CENTRAL MIDFIELD PLAYER: GUS POYET

Former Chelsea's legend Gus Poyet has called N’Golo Kante the best midfield player of all time.

The 26 year old French and Blues central midfield player; Kante helped Chelsea to win the title last season after when he joined from Leicester City. 

During an interview Poyet said; “They missed him a lot, you could see how much the minute he came back. He is easily the best central midfielder in the world. Easily he would play in World XI, without any doubt. “

He further said that “There are players like Casemiro, Sergio Busquets but he is the best option because he is better than them. That way he controls it with his incredible power and finesse. Normally players like that aren’t as good on the bass as Kante is.”

WILLIAN OUT MOURA IN DEAL!

The Blues are planning to sell his attacking midfield player Willian in January in order to generate fund & set a transfer deal for Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura as a replacement. 

Reports in France claim the 29-year-old midfield player will be sold in New Year; January transfer window for approximately £27million with China which seems a possible destination for the player. 

The deal could be Oscar Dos Santos who also left Blues for a bumper fee last January to join Super League side Shanghai SIPG. 

The reports are claiming Willain’s transfer fee will swiftly be reinvested and which will allow Conte to bring in Lucas Moura from PSG with a little impact on club’s finances.  

CHELSEA WANTS FORMER CHIEF LUIS CAMPOS AS REPLACEMENT OF MICHAEL EMENALO!

The Premier League champion; Chelsea is currently in talk to bring Luis Campos for replacement of Michael Emanalo as the club’s technical director.

Chelsea's manager Antonio Conte made it clear that there is no time to feel sorry for themselves. While giving an interview with news reporter, the Blues manager said that "Now its time for another big game this weekend against Manchester United and we as team has to try put our main on the pitch during the game. "

"We need to work as a team and need to understand that this season we have to dig as deep as it is possible in order to give tough time to our rivals in all the upcoming matches."
